CENTERIS, Enterprise Information Systems will address comprehensively from the technological, organizational and social perspectives, aiming at presenting, discussing and disseminating current developments, case studies, new integrated approaches and practical solutions and applications. The conference follows an innovative format, previewing scientific sessions, tutorial sessions by solution providers and technical or enterprise sessions; simultaneously it is expected that exhibitions by solutions providers and product presentations take place.

The overall objectives of the conference are:
  • To discuss the importance of Enterprise Information Systems and the emerging technological developments (information integration, enterprise integration, functionalities);
  • To introduce the state-of-the-art solutions and supported functionalities;
  • To present and discuss practical solutions;
  • To discuss the open source movement: opportunities, trends, risks, advantages and disadvantages;
  • To discuss integrated solutions;
  • To introduce and discuss the challenges or difficulties associated with the social, organizational and technological perspectives;
  • To discuss organizational and social implications;
  • To discuss motivations, problems and critical success factors on the adoption of EIS;
  • To introduce the state-of-the-art solutions and supported functionalities;
  • To discuss management issues and challenges;
  • To discuss the future trends of Enterprise Information Systems.
The conference is targeted both to an academic audience (teachers, researchers and students, mainly of post-graduate studies), IT professionals and IT managers, and managers.

Simultaneously will be organised exhibitions and presentations of systems solutions.

Deadline June 21, 2010

For every accepted paper or poster, at least one full registration fee must be paid by July 12, 2010

Proceedings (full papers) to be published by Springer-Verlag in a book of the CCIS series (Communications in Computer and Information Science), which is listed in the ISI proceedings index.


As a result of the effort to strenght the networking with the research community, this year CENTERIS will have an associated conference - CAPSI - the conference of the Portuguese Association for Information Systems.
